There is usually an agenda item for public participation where the public or community groups can participate and bring matters to the attention of the Parish Council, seek advice and comment on local issues of interest.

If the Parish Council is required to make a decision or support a scheme, the matter must be included as a specific agenda item. The agenda item will explain the matter and may include a summary of any action the Parish Council is requested to consider taking.

Agenda items must be submitted to the Clerk & Responsible Finance Officer at least one week before the date of the meeting, as this is when the agenda will be produced and printed.
